Manage Secure Remote Services settings

Secure Remote Services provides an automated health and system monitoring capability for your storage systems. It sends notifications to Dell Customer Support, sends data to Dell CloudIQ, and enables remote support where necessary. The Secure Remote Services gateway (SCG 4 or later) must be registered at Unisphere.

To manage secure remote services preferences:

Steps

  1. Select to open the Settings panel.
  2. Select Management > Secure Remote Services .
  3. Click Configure to register a new Secure Remote Services gateway (see Secure Remote Services gateway registration).
    You can also manage the Secure Remote Services server certificate for the Secure Remote Services server (see Manage the Secure Remote Services server certificate) for an existing directly connected Secure Remote Services gateway, or unregister an existing Secure Remote Services gateway (see Secure Remote Services gateway deregistration).
